Annual Public Forum 2012

The National Capital Authority's annual public forum will be held on Thursday 31 May 2012, from 6pm to 9pm.

The public forum is an opportunity for you to help guide the decisions that will shape the National Capital of the future. Authority members and senior staff will answer your questions regarding the areas of special national importance in Canberra.

Grand Visions - Centenary of the Capital Plan

An exhibition celebrating 100 years since the plan for Australia's National Capital was announced.

The plans and renderings produced by Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin are internationally recognised as among the great achievements of urban planning and landscape architecture. The exhibition explores the Griffin Plan, along with other entries submitted for the National Capital.

Presented by the National Capital Authority in partnership with the Parliament of Australia.

$11.9 million for National Capital Authority

On 8 May 2012, Regional Australia Minister Simon Crean announced the National Capital Authority will receive $11.9 million as part of the 2012-13 Budget to ensure financial sustainability and support heritage compliance and asset management.

Draft Amendment 75 - Australian Defence Force Academy and Royal Military College Duntroon Master Plan

The purpose of Draft Amendment 75 is to replace the existing master plan for the Royal Military College Duntroon (RMC) with a master plan for both RMC and the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA).

A new master plan for both sites will guide the future planning, design and development of RMC and ADFA as long term military training establishments.
